Testimonials

Alex,
Thank you so much for taking such wonderful headshots! I just went in with Marilyn to H&H (an agency) today, and I was so glad to have such amazing pictures to show to the interviewer. Everything is just ideal in these pictures! Thank you so much for taking the time out to make them perfect!!!
Hope to talk to you soon!

-Katie

thumbs-up

Alex,
First of all let me say, the photos you took are absolutely amazing. So wonderful in fact that I am having a really tough time picking the two I want. I was wondering if I could prevail upon your expertise to pick out the one’s you think are the best… when you have a moment or two, that is. I’m not in a hurry and hope this is not an imposition.
-Hal

Alex,
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the time and effort you put into doing the photo shoot for us. Everyone loved the picture, and Dr Soloway was just ecstatic with the whole process.

The reporter asked that the photos all be downloaded to the following link (see below). If you have any problems, please let me know.
Talk to you soon.
Carol

Hi Alex,
Thank you so much for sending me the pictures, they are breathtaking, you and Bruce are very creative. I loved the way they came out.
I am sorry I didn’t have the time to go over and pick the ones I liked but if it’s ok with you I will be doing this the latest by Thurs.
Thank you so much, you did a great job!
Lina

Alex, First, yes. I agree this is perfect. Please proceed. This one is a good one. And might as well finish the process because the 2nd headshot I want is in your final selection, the eyes are perfect you don’t have to do anything. I think these 2 are perfect. The first one in black is a drama one and the one in blue is for commercial auditions.

OK. Well I called the theatre and talked to Mr. Fisher himself. He said I needed to submit today so I sent him the one you were working on; It is a wonderful photo before retouching. Mr. Fisher emailed back just now saying great photo!!!! :-)

gimme-5

I so appreciate you taking so much time. Now that you know the 2 photos I want, no rush on finalizing this. I am sorry to make you rush so much.
:-(
FYI – The fashion shot I LOVE Sooo much. Can I take this proof CD and have them print that photo out? I soo LOVE this photo and see me using it for friends, etc.

And more news, I got an email this morning from an agency that sends me out. Six Degrees, the show I auditioned for last month. I HAVE BEEN BOOKED. hehehe

Will talk to you soon! Thank you to a great photographer!

Hello,
Thank you!!! You did a wonderful job taking pictures of me. I felt very comfortable in your studio space, you are a very talented man.

I don’t think I need to edit my photographs! Honestly, I liked them as they are. You had a makeup artist, retouching will not even be necessary.
I am happy with the picture you sent me via e-mail. I trust that you are well.

Respectfully,
Max

jumping-for-joy

Alex: thank you so much. There were so many good ones it was hard to choose.
Please also let me know how your photo credit should read, I assume Alexander Blaise…?

I think I’d like to go with #18 I’ll email you tomorrow with a final decision. They’re all terrific, thank you so much!
Amy

Bonjour Alex,
I love the adjustments of “painless plastic surgery”!! The only last alteration I am suggesting is to eliminate the fabric of my pants back pocket.
Love the teeth, love the eyes, love the hair (I am having a self-love fest over this proof! No, but seriously, I am pleased and I think the teeth look great too!).

I really do like the photo without a border, it seems somehow more modern to me. I still have to find a font I like … I may just ask at Reproductions.

Au plaisir de se reparler et merci encore,
Marie-Pierre

Alex, the way you redid the color shots…you are AMAZING!! just AMAZING! thanks SO MUCH, alex..and i mean that so sincerely….i will get you all the business possible….i would LOVE to get wendy’s daughter up here from ATL…..:-) ken.

Alex:
Outstanding – I can not wait to see the rest of them. If it is okay with you I will plan on picking up the disk(s) on Thursday morning around 11:00 a.m. I am going to go directly to Ford with them so if you can email a few more of what you consider your favorites at least I can give them a head start. I am going to send the ones listed below.
In all of the years the girls have worked – these are some of my favorites and I think you know how picky I can be. I love how you were able to capture their personalities as well as their beauty. I love the candidness on some of them. It is a lot harder then what most people think!
How do you want photo credit on their cards? Alex Blaise, Alexander Blaise, BlaisePhoto.com – just let me know so that when I have them printed you are correctly credited. Many thanks. – Cindy

Thank you, thank you
I am running out now and will look at these later…what I saw from
Cindy was just FABULOUS!!! You are good!!!
I look forward to working again with you also and can’t wait to see them all.

hands-claping

Alex,
I LOVE it! You are the BEST. Thank you so much for all of your help and particularly your patience.
Talk to you soon.
Carol

Fabulous job, Alex – looking for more chances to work together.
Thank you,
Michael

Hi Alex,

You did an amazing job! You gave me many great choices.

I had help choosing from my friend the head of publicity at Simon & Schuster–if you get new clients mentioning S&S publishers, you’ll know it’s by way of my contact. I hope you do–you deserve it.

She narrowed it down to 5, and I agreed with 4 of those choices. A friend who’s a designer and my kids voted, too. And the winner . . . . ?

Number 48, the dark blue jacket with the blue necklace.

Everyone thinks it’s attractive, appealing, a genuine smile, and–important to me–very, very real. My daughter said it looks like I’m about to say something and that’s intriguing.

Actually, I hope you won’t touch it up a lot. The lighting and the angle de-emphasize the pouches under my eyes enough already. I don’t mind a little pouchiness to reflect reality.

A little trimming of the stray strands of hair (but still leaving some not totally neatened up) is all I’d suggest, but I’m open to your ideas. You’ve proven yourself very trustworthy about keeping a natural look!

Is it possible to order a few prints in addition to the digital version? Various family members want their own.

Thank you, thank you!
Deborah

Alex,

I wanted to thank you so much for today. I have never felt very comfortable when taking headshots – I know it was difficult with me… but you made me feel very at ease. Rita was wonderful as well and always made me feel perfect for the shot.

Please pass my thanks to her as well.

Thanks again,
Kimberly

You rock, you rule

OMG – Could you take a bad shot of me?  I don’t think so!  WOW.

I like your short selection – I look the most relaxed in the mouth and most confident in the eyes.  And the make-up and hair look great.   See – and I was concerned.  Are my eyes really that blue?  Who knew?  It’s curious to see how I photograph in color.   I’m so used to the old-school black & white headshot.

I can’t wait to show my husband, Glenn, tonight – but of course I’ll take your advice and ask some of my professional actor friends their opinions.  Honestly, I couldn’t go wrong.

You did a great job, Alexander.  I’ll praise your talents on set!

Love,

Lynn

These are fabulous!!!!  Such a treat working with you–I know a real artist when I see one!  The ones I love most are straight haired and near last-

I really did warm up to it, as you said.

I LOVE 3230 and 3234 (the second and third to last in Rita’s sweater (THAT WAS INSPIRED!!!) and the second to last in the red short sleeve top.

(3163?, or the 7th one from the top)

How soon can I have an online one of each to send out to my press kit?  Would be great to be able to do it today…. THANKS so much!

Sending my film announcement now, too!

Cindy K

My agent friend in London thinks they’re excellent-yay! My first Big Agent response!
